Observing Notes

Harold Corwin

This is also a reflection nebula associated with gamma Cas, though shows as well considerable H-alpha emission from excitation by the star. Wolf's position is about 10 arcminutes southeast of the nebula, but there is no other object nearby that better matches his description: "eL, pB, iF, !! [sic]; conn [with IC 59]."
