IC 1704 and IC 1706. Javelle misidentified his comparison star. It is not, as he supposed, BD+13 214, but another (not in the BD) about 5 arcmin northeast. The two galaxies are exactly at the offsets that Javelle measured for them from this star.― IC Notes by Harold Corwin
