A bright galaxy that vanishes n the glare of the 7th magnitude star HD 16152, with averted vision and higher magnification the galaxy appears 1' southeast of the star. 1' x 2' elongated southeast-northwest

A 10th magnitude galaxy obscured by the glare of a 7th magnitude star (HD 16152), a faint halo surrounds the star and extends to the southeast, 2-3' in diameter, most notable with averted vision, no other detail visible
