Javelle misidentified his comparison star. Malcolm Thomson found the correct one: BD -0° 436 (Javelle incorrectly claimed -0deg 438). When this change is made, CGCG 389-027 clearly becomes IC 263, with Javelle's re-reduced position falling within 2 arcsec of the nucleus.― IC Notes by Harold Corwin
