150mm f/17.6 refractor by Tully 1827
A wide and unequal double star, on the Hero's left shoulder, where it forms the northern apex of a nearly equilateral triangle with α and θ Persei. A 4, flushed white; B 14, clear blue. This is No. 2170 of H.'s Fifth Series, and a line through them leads nearly over a l0th-magnitude star in the nf quadrant, the angle of which with A is = 51°.3, and Δ RA = 18s.4; but I am quite at fault respecting a companion recorded by Piazzi in note No. 234, Hora II., in these terms: "Duplex: altera præcedit 0".2 temporis, 8" ad Boream." A movement in space is assigned to the principal, of which the amount has been thus stated:
P.... RA -0".15 Dec. -0".05
B.... +0".l2 0".00
