A bright star, with a companion, on the Warrior's hip, and is about 3° to the south-west of α Persei, as pointed by a line led from α Cephei, through the lucida of Perseus. A 3½, flake white; B 11, pale blue; the two pointing towards a 9th-magnitude star at a distance in the np quadrant. The vicinity is very rich. A has had a slight proper motion assigned byP....
