Observing Notes

Harold Corwin

IC 2019 is the northeastern of an interacting pair of galaxies. The south- western is enough fainter that Javelle missed it -- his two positions are well off the companion. However, because he reported that his object was mottled, it may have been affected to some extent by the companion.
