Yellow, the 8th magnitude star visible 3' north is listed as the B companion in WDS, 37 Tau is 10' northwest

Checking the Gaia DR2 data shows the WDS B companion is a background star with a far smaller parallax and divergent proper motion. WDS also lists a 12th magnitude C companion at 15° 150', this is also a background star
