A brilliant wide double star, two 5th magnitude stars separated by 7', the southern member of the pair is the brilliant white σ1 Tau, while the northern σ2 Tau is white, 89 Tau is 17' northwest, this trio of 5th magnitude stars is a degree southeast of Aldebaran
Gaia EDR3 data indicates comparable but not matching parallax and proper motion for the trio suggesting membership in the Hyades cluster while not otherwise physically associated
