An obvious cluster in a thick Milky Way starfield, a neat diamond shape with a chain of stars extending from one corner off to the southwest, coarse, dim, resolved, quite distinct, the diamond or circlet of stars is about 5' across, my first thought when I saw the shape... a manta ray!
