A binary consisting of a yellow 5th magnitude primary and a 6th magnitude companion visble 3" east, a 9th magnitude star is seen 1' east, 36' southwest of M79

Gaia EDR3 data reveals the pair HD 35162 / HD 35163 to be a binary with comparable proper motions, the 9th magnitude listed as C in WDS seen 1' east is a background star
