A faint but distinct region of enhanced starfield about 10' in diameter and 10' southeast of the 6th magnitude star HR 2243, a fine haze of stars 12th magnitude and fainter, rich, partially resolved, located in rich galactic starfield

Definitely a DLS, dim and difficult object just 6'southeast of a 6th magnitude star, averted vision just shows a hazy patch of very dim stars
