IC 2360 is a star, clearly marked on a print of the original plate, 3.5 arcmin north of its listed position. The error occurs in Wolf's list, and was copied into the IC by Dreyer. I do not know the source of the error, but it may result from a digit error in Wolf's measurement or reduction process -- or it may simply be a mistake. See IC 2262.― IC Notes by Harold Corwin
