Σ 1245 is a lovely double consisting of a yellow-white 6th magnitude star [HD 72945] and a companion 10" south and about a magnitude fainter [HD 72946], the 9th magnitude 2' southwest Smyth mentions is easily visible and itself is a listed double, Anton 4 or the WDS E & G components, its 12th magnitude 10" companion beyond the reach of the 8" tonight
