The IC position is about 2.5 arcmin too far north because the BD position for Javelle's comparison star (BD +3 2388) is in error by that amount. When the correct position for the star (from PPM, SAO, or GSC) is used, IC 621 is clearly identical with CGCG 037-074, not with CGCG 037-075 as claimed in CGCG.― IC Notes by Harold Corwin
