IC 2698 is a spiral galaxy with a star superposed on the western arm. Wolf notes it as binuclear and claims to have measured the preceding (western) "nucleus". His position, however, is within an arcsecond of the star. Did he actually measure that instead?― IC Notes by Harold Corwin
