This, too (see IC 2957), is probably a copying error by Javelle in the position of the comparison star: it is listed as being 30 minutes south of its actual position, a "5" replacing the correct "2" in the minutes of north polar distance. As with IC 2957, Javelle's math is correct aside from the 30 arcmin error.― IC Notes by Harold Corwin
