IC 3765 is a star with a plate defect superposed. The correct object is marked on a print of Wolf's original Bruce 16-inch refractor plate. At some point in the past, I had called this a blended double star. It is not; the images are clearly single on the DSS2 and SDSS― IC Notes by Harold Corwin
