Small, bright and obvious, an oblong object 2' x 1' extending east to west with no notable structure and no obvious core, several other galaxies visible in the immediate vicinity, NGC 4872 is 7' west, NGC 4921 is visible 18' east-southeast, the 7th magnitude star HD 112887 is 10' northwest
