IC 4126 is a star. The mark on the original plate does not clearly point to this, but the position is only 8 arcsec from Wolf's. His note has this as one of a curved chain of nebulae 6 arcmin long. See IC 3636 for more about the discovery plate.― IC Notes by Harold Corwin
