Simply spectacular! The cluster fills the eyepiece, well over ½° across, with a swarm of stars. gradually denser to the center with no sky visible between the stars, only innumerable fainter stars filling the void, an excellent object in the 18", always worth a few minutes in the night to marvel at this wonder

A mind boggling mass of stars that fills the field, an uncountable swarm, the cluster is larger than the 28' field of the 12mm eyepiece, the central condensation seems to be about 20' across with a peppering of brighter members against a solid haze of unresolved dimmer stars through the central region

To see this, to understand what it is, to realize the scale, the sheer number of stars. This is to know that the god of Abraham, as described in the Bible, is pathetically inadequate.

Large, bright, easily visible to the unaided eye, even at low power this is an impressive object, viewed without then with supplemental oxygen, first view showed the cluster but it seemed soft as if slightly out of focus, with oxygen the detail in the cluster is far more remarkable, the cluster is visible to a greater extent and much better resolved, crisp and sharp

Stunning! Large! Bright! a ball of uncountable swarms of stars filling the 37' field at 97x, recent discoveries confirm the presence of an intermediate mass black hole at the center suggesting this is not a globular but the core of a dwarf galaxy that has been absorbed into the Milky Way

Enormous swarm of stars, fills the 25' field of the 12mm Nagler, very bright, very large, fully resolved to the blazing core, hard to believe such and object exists as it seems so unreal, conditions decent to the horizon tonight allowing appreciation of this southern object.
