A set of bright stars set in an otherwise starless void, at first glance there are three stars visible, a closer look reveals the central bright star is just barely split making four visible stars in the group, the central bright pair is designated ρOphA and ρOphB, with ρOphD 2.5' southwest and ρOphC 2.5' north, ρOphD and ρOphC are also non-visual binaries bringing the group total to six
