Kuma is a spectacular binary, a pair of evenly matched 5th magnitude white stars separated by 0.5', in the eyepiece it looks like a pair of headlights approaching from deep space, ν1 Dra/νDra B is the northwestern component, while ν2 Dra/νDra A is the southeastern component, no difference in magnitude is apparent to the eye
