A brilliant white with an obvious 8th magnitude companion 1' southeast, 67 Oph is at the center of the large naked eye open cluster Melotte 186 and is consisdered a member, it is also listed as the primary WDS J18006+0256A of a multiple star system that includes the 8th magnitude noted above WDS J18006+0256C and three others ranging from 10-14th magnitude all within 1' of 67 Oph
