Large, quite faint, a 5' diameter region of faint stars modestly enhanced from the background, best visible with averted vision, partially resolved, no notable core

Dim!! a very faint patch of unresolved haze about 5' in diameter, it was necessary to match up the star field pattern with the chart to find it at all, averted vision and rocking the scope help
