IC 1314 is another star cloud in the Milky Way. There is no nebulosity associated with it. Espin describes it as a "Large misty patch, partly resolved." Though it is not the most prominent star cloud in the area, it is of an appropriate size (about 15-20 arcmin across) that it would be easily noticed during a sweep.
