Brilliant blue-white, the 9th magnitude star visible 4' east is a listed in WDS as the B companion, at low elevation the atmosperic distortion causes the star to resemble it's moniker the blue-white star flashing a range of colors
Gaia EDR3 data reveals this 9th magnitude companion to be a background star
