IC 5015 may well be NGC 6925. Swift's description -- "pB, pS, R, nearly bet 2 sts with dist. companion" -- more or less fits the inner part of the galaxy (though I am puzzled about "with dist. companion"), but his position is well off. However, this is not unusual for the objects that he found during the summer of 1897 (see e.g. IC 4946 and IC 5003). Since NGC 6925 is the only galaxy anywhere near Swift's place, it could well be his object.

I've adopted the identification, though with a colon. ESO made the object a star, but that does not match Swift's description.
