Big! rich, a mass of stars that fill the 1° field, a handful of 8th to 9th magnitude stars outline a region of much fainter 11th+ magnitude stars that swarm across a 15' region, rich, resolved, notably distinct in a rich galactic starfield, visible in the 40mm finder

A conspicuous object south of 41Cyg, a patch of haze about 1/2°, about half of that east-west, appears as a bright thick clump of galactic starfield without any other such clump nearby
