Large, bright and obvious, a large hazy patch in a very rich galactic starfield, >5' in diameter with the extents difficult to ascertian in the rich galactic starfield, a modest core at the center and a hint of spiral structure visible with averted vision, the bright open cluster NGC 6939 visible 40' northwest and about the same size

Large, quite faint, a soft glowing object in a rich starfield, no structure or core noted, round and fades evenly and almost imperceptibly into the background, NGC6939 is one eyepiece field (40') west

Large hazy patch at first impression, up the power and the core and some structure becomes apparent, one obvious arm out of the core to the east, several foreground stars in the mix
