Pale orange, a 10th magnitude companion visible 6" northeast, the star sits mid-stream in the Western Veil Nebula NGC 6960, visible as a ghostly band north to south in the field.
Gaia DR2 data shows matching parallax and comparable proper motion for the companion, likely a binary pair.
