Curved dark marking, 1° long. This curved marking, convex to the north, is much broken with darker masses. The position given is for its center. The star BD+59°2291 (8.0 arcmin) is close to its northeast edge. Its east end is in about a = 20h 51m 0s, d = +59°45'. The west end curves southward and ends near BD+59°2283 (8.2 arcmin) (see ibid., 43, 1-8, 1916, Plate I, and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, 1, 394-96, 1915)."
