An intriguing asterism consisting of a clear crescent shape in a rich galactic starfield, about 10' in diameter and open to the northeast, not as one would guess a single line of stars, rather this is a band of stars about ½' wide made up of dozens of 10-12th magnitude stars, the ends of the horseshoe are anchored by a few 7th magnitude stars
