A notably darker region in otherwise extremely rich galactic starfield, a few faint stars scattered in an area where the pervasive glow of background stars is absent, the central darker region about 5' in diameter with more modest dimming extending east and south towards Alnasl visible 20' south-southeast, the bright globular cluster NGC 6528 on the northwestern margin, this dark complex forms the southeastern border of Baade's Window
