A scattering of 8th magnitude stars southeast of ο1 CMa spread across a 1° area, ο1 CMa anchors the northwestern margin while the 5th magnitude HR 2607 is in the eastern reach, while there does seems to be a concentration of stars hare it is not a convincing cluster visually, perhaps nothing more than a modest concentration in the galactic starfield
Archinal & Hynes identifies the cluster as a true cluster with stars scattered over a fairly large area well beyond the 1° originally described by Collinder, it appears that the Wolf-Rayet star CZ CMa is a member

Nothing remarkable in the field, confirmed star pattern, with the 20mm the telescope field is 1.3 degrees, rich galactic starfield and an odd line of 8-11 magnitude stars on the western side, literature indicates a modest concentration of supergiants here
