A lovely collection of 5th to 6th magnitude stars spanning over a degree of sky the area rich with stars the full range of magnitudes, in a region of rich galactic starfield about 2.5° south of Aludra, the orange HR 2834 at the center, HR 2823 and HR 2819 on the southwest margin, notable in the 50mm finder but best appreciated in the 8" 'scope

A bright sweep of 5-7 magnitude stars running northeast to southwest at least 1° long, obvious in a very rich region, sparse, fully resolved, Cr132 visible just northwest, a good binocular object
