A bright coarse group arranged about Meissa (Lambda Orionis), large at about a degree across, four 4-5th magnitude stars with a few fainter interspersed, a notable 10' line of three 6-8th magnitude stars running north-south just south of Meissa, quite a nice field for the RFT

A bright beautiful grouping centered on the 3.4 magnitude star Meissa defining the head of the constellation of Orion, over a degree across and filling the field with several dozen 8-10 magnitude stars notably east of Meissa, bright, coarse, resolved, φ1 Ori and φ2 Ori at the southern margin of the cluster, HR1883 at the northern

A pretty set of bright stars in a rich star field, visible to the unaided eye, obvious in binoculars, no particular indication that is is a true cluster in the eyepiece, forms the center of the Lambda Orionis Association, a moving group located 1,300ly away, also the Lambda-Lambda asterism

A bright grouping of stars also cataloged as Cr 69, several chains of stars, not convinced I see the lambda shape either in the scope of with 9x63 binos, pretty star field!

The star Lambda Orionis is involved within a grouping that has the shape of the Greek letter Lambda; includes Phi 1 Orionis― SAC Asterism Database
