The location is off a chain of four 9-10 magnitude stars on the western margin of NGC2359 that includes the 8.8 magnitude red HD57057, nothing remarkable in the location that stands out from the background mottled rich galactic starfield
Checking Archinal's Star Clusters this is listed as a real cluster with a note from Skiff that the object is "low contrast against sky". Apparently not a visual object, DSS imagery does show a modest concentration of stars here.
