Observing Notes

Harold Corwin

In Wolf's notes for this galaxy, he says "diffic, similar att f, * 12 s". The galaxy is indeed "difficult", and there is also a 12th magnitude star to the south. There is, however, no "similar" nebula near following. The object Wolf is referring to must be a faint defect; it does not show up very well at all on the print of the original plate.
