IC 3329 is a knot in NGC 4393, east of the nucleus. It is visible on the print of Wolf's plate that I examined, but his marks have been scrubbed off the plate. Neverthless, the identification is secure.
GCG has this (along with IC 3323, a star superposed on NGC 4393, both of which see) equal to NGC 4393 itself, but this is wrong.― IC Notes by Harold Corwin
