IC 3549 is a star. As with IC 3547, Wolf's discovery plate has been wiped clean of his marks, but the position points very closely to the star -- which is easily seen on the plate -- and Wolf's description (vF, vS) is appropriate for the object.― IC Notes by Harold Corwin
