IC 3654 and IC 3656 are an interacting pair of galaxies. IC 3656 is a particularly interesting object with a severely distorted corona. It has two main lobes -- one east, the other west -- of the nucleus that, at first sight, appear to be accompanying galaxies. The fine SDSS image is informative.― IC Notes by Harold Corwin
