Observing Notes

Harold Corwin

IC 3915 is the northern of two stars, verified on a print of the original plate. Though Wolf's position is in error by exactly 10 arcmin in declination -- clearly a typo -- his mark on the plate, and his comment "inv * 14 s" both refer to the correct object. See IC 3636 for more about the discovery plate.
