There are two red knots near the center of this nearly edgewise spiral. Most of the automated surveys center on the northeastern of the two as it is closer to the center of the brighter inner section of the galaxy. To my uncertain eye, the southwestern of the two knots appears slightly brighter and larger, but not by much. With some caution, I've adopted the concensus view and the xxx position for the galaxy, but give the 2MASS PSC positions for both objects so that you can choose if you wish.― IC Notes by Harold Corwin
