Observing Notes

Harold Corwin

IC 462 is a star. It has a faint galaxy nearby that may have helped give the impression of nebulosity to the star. This is the only one of Kobold's nine new nebulae in the area which is not a galaxy. For more on this group, see the extensive discussion under NGC 2330.
