Stewart calls this "cF, S, i, D". He names a plate of one hour exposure, 3795, from the Bruce telescope at Arequipa as being the source of the object. However, he does not mark the object "susp" as he would if he had seen it on only one plate. So, it's a bit puzzling to find nothing in the area of his position matching his description.
Carlson also notes this as "Not found", and I did not find it during scanning for SEGC. This is probably a defect rather than the faint double star Wolfgang suggests. The Harvard plate should be checked, of course.
Incidentally, IC 4629 (which see) is also missing; Stewart found it on the same plate.― IC Notes by Harold Corwin
