Observing Notes

Harold Corwin

IC 4930 is, like IC 4922 (which see), probably a plate defect. This one, however, was described by Stewart as "cB, S, vE at 45 deg, susp", so it would have been a fairly prominent galaxy if it existed. As with I4922, the plate was one of the one-hour Bruce plates taken at Arequipa.
