Stewart notes this as "2 neb., eF, eS, R, bM, * sp 1 arcmin". Dreyer omitted the "2 neb." from his description, so some cataloguers have put the number on the brighter, northern galaxy of the pair. But it's clear that Stewart saw both, so I've put the number on both. And there is a star about an arcminute southwest of the pair.― IC Notes by Harold Corwin
