Harold Corwin
I've taken the IC object as both galaxies in this interacting pair. This may not be correct -- the brighter, northern galaxy may be Stewart's intended object. Nevertheless, the two are close enough -- separated by just 0.3 arcminutes that they may well have appeared as a single object on the early Bruce plate from Arequipa. We should look at that plate to be sure about the identification. In the meantime, if you are so inclined, you may take just the northern galaxy as the IC object.― IC Notes by Harold Corwin
