15cm f/5 Primero

A soft glow surrounding a bright star (56Cyg/5.0 Mag.), fades slowly off to the south, no obvious structure, made visible mostly by the darker region [LDN934] between it and NGC7000 to the east, visible without a filter but slightly improved by a UHC

IC 5070, the "Pelican Nebula", west of the "North American Nebula" (NGC 7000, which see). Of the three nebulae in the area found by Espin, this is the only one for which the position is good. See IC 5067 for the story.
